Hi all,
Just a couple of spends to update, just for bread, cheese, milk and ham! £5.79 spent on these so £14.17/200 so far this month. No extra spends to report. Mondays are “soup and pudding” night in our house - a big batch of HM soup in the pressure cooker (we had minestrone last night made from leftover beef stew bulked out with tomatoes/beans/veg etc and it was amazing!), a loaf of HM bread and last night’s pudding was ice cream leftover from Christmas which the kids had in cones which have sat unopened from the summer! Tyres/alloys fitting cost me £40 less than I expected, £120, price included fitting and balancing,,while he was doing that 20 min job I wandered across to Aldi, spent £17.71 2 y.s rib eyes, y.s. lamb shoulder, will chop into 4, some tidy looking measuring jugs reduced to 99p, my existing ones are stained, a mini stollen for some comfort food.Do I need it or just want it.7

First grocery shopping of the year today, £2.88 in Lidl including 1.5kg of potatoes for 14p, and £3.85 in Morrison's including pack of 6 crumpets for 25p and a Bombay Bad Boy pot noodle for 50p.
