Remortgage with Santander, valuation

Hi looking for anyone’s recent experiences with remortgaging with Santander. We bought the house a few years ago and have done a considerable amount of work - double story extension and loft conversion. We have had a number of local agents value the house now work is complete and they think we have added between £250-£300k on the value.
I called Santander to talk about revaluing and the new mortgage as we are coming to the end of our fixed term, and they sent a valuer round last week. I’m now waiting on the valuation to come through from Santander.
I’m realistic so expecting they won’t value it as much as the agents! However, has anyone been in a similar boat and had any good/bad experiences with the valuation amount? We are just hoping we can reduce our monthly amount as we will have more equity in the house, so as long as we fall in a bracket to go into a lower percentage we’ll be happy!
