Rucksack with one single compartment

Looking for a rucksack with just one large single compartment, anything up to about 40Litres and £40.

I am fed up of all those extra sections that I just don't use and need one large section to carry my shopping home.

    Why not get a second-hand rucksack and cut out the sectional components? I have a very good Berghaus 40 litre daysack with side pockets and an internal compartment. The compartment is just a fabric panel with a drawstring; it could be completely removed in about 2 minutes with a scalpel. The side pockets could also be cut off it they were a problem.

    It's not so much the extra pockets are a problem, they are just a waste of space and effort, I could live with a bottle holder as I use that in the summer but all other pockets never get used.
