Im worried that the info I put as my income may look different for December as I had slightly extra
can I explain this to the official receiver in the telephone interview?0 -
Yes, it’ll be okay to tell him/her. They won’t bat an eyelid.1

I've no doubt you will be asked to supply wage slips for the last six months, so they can see your average wage.

If it turns out that my income is a little more than I declared in my application what will happen?

Hmm, how much is a little? If it's a one off as a bonus as you have stated, then it's not an issue, But if your wages are higher than you have declared it will be seen as you trying to decieve the OR.0

Then you will be fine. When they call you say oh! by the way I received a christmas bonus in my paypacket this month, it was only £xx but I've saved it just in case you wanted it. The OR will say thanks for letting me know we'll send you the details where you can send it or thanks for letting me know you can keep it and spend how you wish.1

Drunk? You do realise any extra income you receive can be claimed by the OR and you can face harsh penalty's for not doing so..MD201989 said:
