Default debts and settlement offers

Options
I have been offered a settlement figure for a couple of debt I have which have gone into default. I know these will not improve your credit score as much as when you clear the debt in full. Can someone advise how much of a difference a settlement will make to my credit score. Many thanks.

This is a non-answer. I can't. Because your credit score is just a made-up number for marketing purposes.

If you've got defaults that will have an effect on what products you can access because it is on your history, and stays there for 6 years

If f you have been offered a settlement figure, bear in mind that this is an 'opening offer' ad they will be open to negotiation.
