LGPS another pension question!

so, if my pension is based on thebest of my final 3 years and the best of those 3 is this year when I've been off sick for most of it, 6 months full and 6 months possibly half, what is my pension based on? do they base it on what my salary should have been or do they take sickness and authorised absence into account?
