My wife is hoping to swap jobs to a new company in next few weeks due , are there any mortgage lenders that would lend to someone who has just started a new job?

@lm1981 Assuming your wife has been in continous employment, there are mainstream lenders who are happy to lend with one month's payslip. Of course this is subject to the rest of the scenario stacking up and meeting the other criteria for that lender and product.

Yes, I’ve just switched jobs and managed to get a mortgage going direct to TSB. I hadn’t had a payslip yet so all they requested was a headed letter from my new employer confirming job title, contract type and guaranteed salary. Was easy and TSB were very helpful.1

There are one or two lenders willing to accept a written job offer with confirmed start date.I am a mortgage broker.
