nespresso vurtuo replica pods??

Hi bought and love my nespresso vurtuo machine but the pods are so expensive. Does anybody know of any replica cheaper pods we can purchase please? or any deals except the free pods which come with the machine?

They don't do vertuo pods, I don't know that anyone does.

My father bought one for my mum for christmas and as he's not tech savvy I had to do research and buy it and I am sure I read somewhere that these pods are only available from Nespresso as they still had the patent for the pods etc so no-one else could make them or sell them - I think that this was going to be the case until mid next year

Nespresso has been around for a long time and a couple of years back the patent on their original capsules ran out, hence the many copy pods available pretty much everywhere. To get round this, and ensure another period of exclusive profits, Nespresso invented the vurtuo machine with the old pods not working in it and the new pods only being available from them, thanks to their patent. I'm afraid you will have a wait before anyone can make copies for this new machine.
