I have a message on my Asda account this morning that they are offering a limited amount of anytime delivery passes. They are £6 a month.

Is it wise given Asda might retract them again?

Lots of things "might" happen but I'm not going through life thinking like that

No I am not either. I cant see things getting that bad again that we will be fighting for delivery slots, Even if it did nothing will be lost as they will have to refund the pass charge.

I didn't get the message, though I had asked ASDA to let me know, so I am very grateful Millie, that you started the thread   I have been able to buy a delivery pass for £6 pcm.

After my 22 Dec order from Morrisons, I will cancel my annual pass with them. For past FIVE orders, Morrisons has subbed another product from a brand eg Lactofree and not counted it as a sub and I'm fed up with it, now.

Ocado was pants during Lockdown #1 despite a delivery pass. I had been a customer since 2012 and wasn't impressed. I had two deliveries between March and May and because of that, Ocado refused to refund for all the weeks I couldn't get anything. Abel & Cole cut my milk order by 50% and cut 100% of my eggs, though I had been a customer with them, since 2012 as well. So I don't have muc faith in their ability to deliver BUT a delivery pass does imply some sort of loyalty to them.

I live in Kent and TAP has been in place for much of the week, with trucks backed up on M20 from Eurotunnel to Ashford. The moveable barriers are going back in and Kent Highways is tweeting about road closures to get Manston Airport ready. So, even if it isn't on national news, the Brexit queues are happening already. Sadly a driver collided with a truck on the M20 Jct 11 slip road recently and died. Hauliers are saying that EU drivers don't want to be coming over here, stuck in queues for days and therefore EU companies are trying to send more stuff over before 31 December.

I CAN see it getting worse, because it only took a storm in the Channel, for trucks to be backing up in Operation Stack, even before Brexit and the pandemic..
