M&M: I would love to be going shopping now, in an empty shop, but DH is still asleep, so can't get dressed!
Yesterday's frugal endeavours involved sorting through the EBay pile for listing, and sorting through the sewing pile. Hopefully, this will declutter, while earning and saving money...... I just need to just do it!
Just talking to DS1GF about F.I.R.E. And recommended The Humble Penny website to her. She is quite excited to have a look at it.… (I hope they stay together.....she is a keeper!). Perhaps I should take my own advice, and get back on the programme.......it's never too late!

Olio has a stupid amount of cucumbers at the moment. Any thoughts on what one could do with a crate of cucumbers?10

@House_Elf_2 I've never read the Humble Penny. I love Mr Money Mustache in the USA. He can be a bit strong worded but I like his philosophies.
Te$co was lovely and quiet. My money budget is 350 and I spent 90 but got a few packs of a few bits that were on offer, so am confident we will be under budget this month.8 -

On the furgal side of life...
I now only spend money on a friday if I can.
Shopping this week was £28 but I did buy £10 of vegan dressings... Will try for better next week.
Also made spicy parsnip soup using an olio butternut squash.
Also asked work if I can have a free lunch like the other staff so they will make a vegan meal for me... so I can cut my food bill abit more.
On the not so good side... I had to order new clothes for my son as he keeps going through growth spurts.# 36 1p challenge 2024 - £536.60

Evening all,
A very frugal week here, only £21 spent 🤩🤩. I do have a big expense next week, a new front door, all saved for. Current door is at least 30 years old, very draughty and rotten in parts. I've been saving up and found a local chap to fit it. It will definitely help my energy consumption too as we lose so much heat through the door.
Life continues as normal here for us, I am still going to work each day so the children are at school. I hope everyone is safe, well and happy xx12
