Bargain seeds!
Just had a frugal spree on packets of seeds most only 50p per packet and only 95p p&p for total order.
For anyone interested
All 99p packs 50p
All peas & beans £1.50

Also, had the idea of using mini jenga blocks to write seed labels after the plastic ones keep washing off even with permanent marker.

We have spring cleaned some gooseberry and blackcurrant bushes via Freecycle from our garden. Going to reuse space and build raised beds to grow veg instead.13

Enjoying reading everyone's posts, sorry I've not posted for a while!
@Tightpants24, I've been thinking about selling on V!nted. From the adverts, I understand you take a photo of your item & upload with the price, but I wondered what happens re postage? Do you add that on to your item price?
On the theme of utilities, I phoned our phone supplier at the weekend to see if we could reduce our package. We've been moved to a different package which is newer & £11 per month cheaper.
Had to order new glasses this week after an eye test. I now need varifocals, so quite expensive. Pleased I have a certificate through WTC to reduce the cost by a third!

@Thrifty_Taylor ....yes you get the app then add your photos and description, etc. You set your price then you have options to choose for postage options, though it does default to H3rmes as the cheapest. When your item sells you pick the parcel size / weight (it gives suggested sizes based on items). The buyer then is given the price of the item, plus postage costs and a "buyer protection fee" which is basically what V1nt3d makes from the sale. When the sale is made you get an email with the post label which you print and attach to the parcel. Take it to your local drop off and that's it. When it arrives (shown by the tracking) V1nt3d release the money to your chosen account. So the seller gets the full cost of the item. I hope that doesn't make it sound more complicated than it is 😊14

That's very very helpful TP24. I have some good quality stuff that will never fit again that I would like to sell.
My March Motivation was to drum up the courage to sell something online which had to include uploading photos. Something I have rarely done (uploading anything). I have 6 days left !
Arrgghhh...........

@balabooberlies I've never uploaded photo's anywhere so you are not alone!.
Really cold this morning, popped out early and had to de-ice the car windscreen (quite thick ice). Just had a very frustrating visit to my local T*sco superstore. For some inexplicable reason they have changed all the food aisles around for anything that isn't fresh, frozen or bakery!. What a strange time to do it - we are still almost in total lockdown apart from schools, had to spend twice as long trying to find what I wanted. I also like their free magazine, it's a good source for all sorts of things.11 -
Fantastic! Thanks for your help @Tightpants24Use it up, wear it out
