@Mummy2cheekymonkeys You could make ice cream with it? Vanilla paste, double cream, sugar (always less than the recipe says) and some mlk.13

If you plan to use the cream to cook (as opposed to whipped/ poured) you can freeze as is and defrost for use.6

Solar panels are definately not cheap but will pay for themselves long term.
I would like enough free electricity to run my house and an electric car... eventually...
It howls a gale round the side of my house to I think some sort of turbine would be good... plus it would annoy the idiot 2 doors down... which is fine by me!

Mumto2cheekymonkeys, you can whip the cream and put blobs (or pipe into swirls if you feel artistic) onto a baking sheet. Open freeze & then keep in a bag or a tub. Use as required. You can put a frozen blob on hot pie - yum.Grocery challenge 2025: £650/1500 annual budget18

I second homemade ice cream
Maybe make creamy fudge?
Hugs to anyone that needs them, it's been a wet and cold day here. Nothing to report other than a money shuffle and all is good.
Can anyone recommend any frugal type you tube people they enjoy watching?

Hi guys
I think the reason for the ban on collecting water might be because of the Zika virus in warmer areas, when we had our house in Florida it was recommended not to allow standing water because the mosquitoes bred in it. The virus had been found further south than where we were and humid areas were hot spots.

Re cream, I had half a carton to use yesterday after making stroganoff. It’s definitely an item that I find hard to use and ends up binned! So I added it to the milk I was using to make hot cocoa for the kids and I at snack time and my word, it was so delicious and indulgent 😁 and good not to waste it too.Part time working mum | Married in 2014 | DS born 2015 & DD born 2018
