Should I bring a foreign European pension back to the UK?

I have a private pension which I contributed to for a number of years, when self employed in Spain. I have now returned to live and work in the UK and wondered if I should bring the pension to the UK?

First step is to check with the Spanish provider if you can do so.Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1
