    What are full time hours.
    You can pro rata without that information
    You could guess at 4/5 for a 37.5hr full time.
     Mid range £19, 500->£15,600
  • And take the figures given by getmore4less and divide by 12 to get a monthly figure.
    You should also be aware that you would almost certainly be placed at the bottom of the range.
  • Im not sure what the full time hrs are.
  • Im so confused- the post is in a school so i would be off over summer

    If you're employed term time only you will be paid for 38/39 weeks plus some pro-rata holiday (I used to end up being paid for 44.5 weeks p.a.).  That would make your 0.69 FTE salary in the region of £13,400 or £1117 p.m.

    You will have to ask the because schools are a nightmare working out what they mean as there seems to be many ways it is done in different places.

    You also need to check if the pay is spread out over the 12 months or just paid while working

    eg a 39 weeks term time  working where the £19.5k is full time 52 weeks(46.4 working, 5.6 holiday) 37.5hr/wk
    with statutory holiday it  could be (4/5) * 39/46.4 = £13.11k  or  £1,093pm for a 30hr week.
  • Ask before you make it to interview. Don't accept an interview - counter it with questions where you can. One company I researched before interview in recent days literally turned out not to be 35 hours but 40 and working from home. Thought I was going in underpaid to my current position, oh my, came out totally other way, could never have seen it, only wished I asked a lot more questions when the offer of interview actually came in.
