6 month contract has been extended, where does this leave my holiday days?

I took on a 6 month contract which is due to end Jan 31. I took some holiday but haven't taken all the holiday, now the contract is being extended and i'm wondering if the holiday that i haven't taken yet gets taken over with the extension?

I would say yes. But check with your manager/HR/payroll contact.
Another factor might be your company's holiday year and their stance on carrying over unused holidays.0 -
Ask the employer whether they want you to take it before 31 January or if you can carry it forward. They can decide: it's not a question of law as such.
For how long is the contract being formally extended?0
