Hugheskevi, thanks I will call them later to see if they have previous figures
i Know they have not purchased added pension, and I don’t think they received a statement last year, but their income has never been over there current wage, they have booked a 1-1 via video call for a week monday now
To get the most from that session they should ensure they have their 2014/15 and 2015/16 pension inputs to hand, which will either be on a previous statement or can be requested from MyCSP by emailing PSS@mycsp.co.uk with their National Insurance number. If they breached in 2016/17 as well (figure will be on the statement) they will need 2013/14 pension input as well.
Remember the £110,000 figure is taxable income, not just salary. So any bonuses and any other income needs to be taken into account.
