Doing it this way still uses a skimlink so won't work.Freelikeabird said:cagsd said:
Maybe a silly question, but are you clicking directly on links in this thread? If you are, you're not likely to find any birds as for some reason there is an issue with skimlinks from this site. You may be better off if you either copy and paste the link text, or just drag the link up to a new tab.mizfiesta said:
Yup, me too. I didn't even get a single bird on todays clue!juliedee4663 said:Worked my way through 18 pages of links and not a single bird this morning. This game is wasting far too much of my time, I'm out
Ctrl clicking or right click and 'open in new tab' on the links also seems to work for meBlulu said:
When you say this worked, do you mean you got a bird from it this way? Or do you mean it opened the link OK? I'm asking because it didn't work for me. I tested it on the daily clue and the link opened, but no bird flew out. Then I did it my usual way, by dragging the link to a new tab, and got the hummingbird straight away."Ctrl clicking or right click and 'open in new tab' on the links also seems to work for me"
Thanks anyway
Blu XXXI ctrl click any links from this thread (or sometimes right click and open in new tab if I have a tea in the other hand
) and it always opens fine and I get birds from it. Not sure why it seems to work for some and not for others!Edit: I use Firefox. Not sure if that makes any difference?2 -
I usually right click on link and 'open in new window'. Is this what you mean?cagsd said:

Using Chrome
That still has the skim link - if you look at the url part of the address will be skimlink like this
AFFID=181013&utm_source=www.skimlinks.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=affiliate&awc=2459_1608052595_9bd9dd3bc12bd15982f4443272a258b1
if you just drag a link up to the top of the page it will open in a new tab without the skimlink (there are other ways but that is probably the most straightforward for single posts)1
