    Wonder if they have a pattern for an adult size.  (I'm sure my head size must be more than that of a six-month-old!)

    its not that difficult to scale up the patterns on most things.    look for a similar adult hat and use that number of stitches to start.   i havent downloaded the pattern but I knit adult beanies and start with 88 stitches normally
