Bryton cycle computers?

Anybody reading this have one?

I was holding out for a Wahoo Elemnt Roam coming on offer on Black Friday and while the Sonos Beam came good for me, the Wahoo didn't.

Spending a bit of time looking in to cycle computers and some of these Bryton units grabbed my attention. Looking at reviews on YouTube of various units i'm not sure i'm a fan of the glare that some of the Garmin's were getting in day/sunlight. From talking to the few cyclists I know, they were all not necessarily anti-Garmin but they'd experienced both Garmin and Wahoo units and preferred Wahoo. The display on the Bryton's i'd seen reminded me of the Wahoo's.

Just wondered if anyone here had one and what your take was on them.

I'd be looking for something that has maps. I'd prefer to not rely on my phone if i got lost.
Various stats which i imagine will be all pretty standard - speed, distance, RPM so on & so forth.
Something that'd upload to Strava itself. Even if you had to bring it in to the home and upload via home WiFi.
Ideally something that would alert you to upcoming Strava Segments and how long they were for / when they were about to end. I know where some of my favourite segments are but it'd be nice to have a better idea of their exact start and end points if possible.
Battery life, so long as a full charge will last a few hours, isn't much of a deal to me. The longest i think i've been out on the bike is 2 hours and it's not the end of the world if i had to charge it after that. I've not yet built up to 4, 5, 6 hour rides :D

Bryton computers will work just fine.  None of them support Strava Segments though. I don't know how their navigation capable units compare to those from Wahoo or Garmin in navigation terms.

I was looking at the Bryton too, ended up with a garmin explore, I had similar requirements like you, most interested in current average speed plus time distance travelled. Then the navigation which has been fine. The Brytons look good, battery life on them should be ample for a day out riding with the screen permanently on, I'm not sure about the Bryton eco system, DC rainmaker on the tube has some reviews of the Bryton and not sponsored so worth a watch.

I've had a look at reviews and the new one, the 750 comes out quite well. I think it does do segments.

I'd still go for a Garmin 530 / 830 however. These were a significant step up by Garmin, largely as a response to Wahoo and the reviews and personal experiences I have seen and heard say they have moved on from some of their historical faults.
