Compliment tick

When I have done a competition especially with the advents daily I always tick the compliment box. After I've done this there is no way of seeing if you have done it or not apart from the number going up . Or have I missed something

If you are one of the first 9 to tick it you should see your name.1

Useless compared to the old Thanks where you could easily see if you had or hadn't and could use for things like multiple entry comps rather than tick entered. I see no point to the current compliment tick.6

Totally agree I can never see whether I've left a thanks or not! Theres no point at all. So many things worse than before they changed it. It will all be blamed on Covid!!pate-ci0 said:Useless compared to the old Thanks where you could easily see if you had or hadn't and could use for things like multiple entry comps rather than tick entered. Yes, the thanks button was much better and I could see if I had entered straight away. Was useful for say the puzzler thread and take a break for instance. The compliment button now is just rubbish.martinsnest said:

We've asked the forum team to fix this in our recent list of requests. We haven't heard back yet though.6

Oh its not just me then! Just like they have never fixed the hover facility either. Have they actually fixed anything. Blaming the virus is so easy for everyone! Grateful that you have given your time to trying to fixRahven said:We've asked the forum team to fix this in our recent list of requests. We haven't heard back yet though.2 -
Yes, they have fixed some things. You've got your green ticks and red crosses and you've got a Sort function that sorts the board into Latest Post or Newest Thread or Closing Date just a shame that Search has deteriorated and completely gone to pot.martinsnest said:

The list of problems is very long and will take a long time to get sorted.Bob3 -
Rahven and I did assure MSE Laura that we would be patient with all the changes we had asked for, on behalf of everyone here who isn't happy with things as they are. Although, we did also ask if MSE would just keep us posted about things, so that we know that our list of requests is on their agenda to sort if and when they can. I admit that I'm a bit disappointed with them in this respect.

Thing is it isn't really changes that are being asked for it is simply the restoration of the missing features from the old forum - features that should have been in place from the launch of this one and none of them should be a surprise to them
(The old search feature wasn't good but compared with this one it was priceless)3
