Santander Consent to Let - Experience

Interested in peoples experiences. From initial investigation, am I right to think it is still the following...
£295 fee, consent to let doesn't have a limit of 12-24 months as other companies and also the rate remains the same according to current product and deal end date NOT an increase of rate, let say if you were on a 5 year fix and request CTL after 12 months....4 years will remain at current deal rate.
Thanks in advance for any information/experience

@IAMIAM Afaik, that's largely correct - £295 fee, no loading on the interest rate. I'm not sure the CTL is open-ended, there might be a time limit to it. Interestingly, what another broker said was that (different to a lot of other lenders), Santander allows you to PT to another residential product even when on a CTL.

Thanks, I was contemplating a remortgage to either Santander or Platform and I am now siding with Santander for this reason...0
