Debt write off attempt

Hi all,
I was a bit stupid a few years ago and got myself into a tonne of debt, it all defaulted and got passed on to debt collection agencies. Over the past couple of years I've managed to get rid of most of it through complaints to the financial ombudsman about various things or requesting documentation and then when they've been unable to provide it offering a tiny settlement. I've even got compensation in some cases.
There's 1 left though who I actually believe may take me to court if I don't pay. Account is on hold due to another complaint I've made against them at the moment and will be back to collections in ~8 weeks. Account value is ~£2k. I've already requested affordability checks which they've confirmed the original creditor did correctly (but haven't provided me any proof of this), are they supposed to provide proof? I've also requested the original credit agreement which they unfortunately were able to provide.
If I need to pay it I will, I have the cash but I'd prefer not to. Does anyone have a list of things I can complain about or request other than what I've already done? Even if it's stuff which is likely to fail but will tie them up for a bit I'm happy to do that and then offer them a settlement when they realise it's gonna drag on for a while.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks.

In your position I would pay it. You clearly don't want to, but it is money you have admitted they have proved you borrowed. Who has told you the loan was affordable, was it the ombudsman - you say they but don't explain who?Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20221

Why don't you try a small settlement offer?0
