Hello,
Does anyone have any advice?
A friend of ours is in the process of a transfer of equity and also adding someone else onto their mortgage... they are remortgaging to NatWest and they have asked for all payslips from a temporary job at a supermarket (April-Aug) during the first lockdown... The supermarket doesn’t let you on their online payslip viewing system after it has been 12 weeks since you left and it’s been way over this so they are unable to get them... any advice on what they can do?
I believe they have told their Mb about it and they’ve informed NatWest who have said the underwriter will inform them of what they can use instead (if anything) but does anyone have any idea of what NatWest will do about this? Don’t want them to be declined cause of this, I think they could request the payslips from the supermarket if absolutely necessary.
It’s all confusing as the job finished in August so unsure why they need payslips from April when he has a different job now and they are applying for the mortgage 9 months later.

Thanks for your reply, I think so but unsure if it is accessible as the payslips aren’t. The MB has gone back to NatWest so maybe this is what they will ask for.. just worried for them as don’t want this to cause a decline!

P45/Bank statements (but try to avoid that if possible)/Letter from HR/copies of payslips.

They have had bank statements which is where they picked up the final payment from the supermarket (in august) which was visible and they then questioned what this was... then they asked for all payslips from the supermarket and more information on what their job title was and dates they worked there which were provided, they’re just not able to provide the payslips.
