I'm considering purchasing an XBox Series S however I am unsure if this would be a wise purchase. I am a uni student so get my loan three times a year as well as money from my parents every month. It's also Christmas soon so I'll likely get some money then. I already have a Nintendo Switch but want to try some of the games which are exclusive to other consoles. 

Would it be wise to spend so much money on a gaming console whilst still at uni?
