Pepper Mortgages - DIP issued, all paperwork sent and now waiting for formal offer

Back Story
So back seven years ago lost the lot for reasons that I wont go into here, my credit was thrashed and my property was repossessed.    During this time I had paid in excess of £80000 in rent, for what can only be described as a string of houses that were just rotten.  Since then I have rebuilt my credit with the help of 3 Subprime credit cards, started out on low limits now have around 4k of credit available with zero balances on all cards, also got myself a contract mobile phone.  During this time I have managed to save a six figure sum with the intention of buying a new house.
The Broker
I then did some research and looked at my options as I had to move fast on the property due to its popular location and the fact that this is an off market deal.  What I will say is the broker is excellent and had all the right contacts at Pepper and if this comes off I will have no issue whatsoever in paying his fee.
Pepper
Pepper was recommended as the best option as I work as a day rate contractor and my finances were somewhat complicated in that I could not give them some of the standard documentation they requested.  However my broker asked my to explain everything that happened in relation to the adverse and they suggested some alternative documentation to prove my income.   I had my first appointment with the broker last Thursday morning and had a DIP that evening.  Pepper had asked for several documents since and these were provided, bank statements for person and business accounts, a copy of my tenancy agreement and proof of rental payments.  I paid a visit to the broker today and signed all the paper work that Pepper requested, picked a solicitor and paid the valuation fee.

I will keep this post updated as hopefully it may be of use to someone.
