Pro rata pay please can someone help me out

Hi. I am contracted as an LSA to start in January till the 31st of august and I am desperate to figure out how much I am actually earning. The contract says 

17017 per annum (isn6) pro rata for 30 hours a week therefore your actual salary will be 11409 per annum. Your starting salary has been calculated on the basis of 43/52 of your isn point (pro rata for 30 hours / 37ths per week)  This is made up of 38/52nds of the pro rata annual salary plus five weeks paid annual leave and public holiday entitlement. 

How the hell i am meant to understand that I don’t know so any input from anyone would be appreciate. Thank you.

£17,017 x 43/52 = £14,071.75

£14,071.75 x 30/37 = £11,409.52

£11,409.52 x 8/12 = £7,606.

First two are based on the info you have provided and the third assumes you will be paid the £11,409.52 for 8 months of the year. 

In reality you will probably only be paid from 4 January but as you don't give a start date I have used the full month.

But only your employer can say for certain.
