New/update oil fire central heating

Options
Hi, we are thinking of replacing our aging boiler and oil tank (20+ years old) and maybe updating the heating around the house - it has been tripping a bit lately and is probably far from being economical.  Does anyone have any recommendations of someone that provides such a service in the North Down area.

If we don't go that far I would still like to replace the time clock and maybe thermostats to something that gives more options (e.g. wireless that allows remote turning on and off or at least offers more than 2 start/stop periods during a day.  Any thoughts or ideas on this are welcome.  Is this a DIY job (I am reasonably good with household electrics but have never worked on boiler timeclocks etc.)

Thanks.
