I'm a British citizen and my wife is here in the UK on a Spouse Visa (been here 2.5 years, currently in the process of extending it for another 2.5 years). Any advice? Anyone on here in a similar situation that can recommend a specialist mortgage advisor?

  • There are lenders that will treat you both as UK residents as long as you are married.  Also lenders that dont really care as long as 2.5 years have passed.    See any broker and you will be good.  Its high street lenders who will be able to help

Any experienced broker should be fine with placing this as JMA says.
