  •  I bought a so called gaming laptop for my son at just over £500. Cant fully load fortnite! Was told in store when I complained that it only handles low graphics games and I'd need to spend in excess of £1k to get one to play high spec games.
  • i do recall her saying these arent up to date games so it wont need to be a high spec top of the range laptop? hopefully i will be able to get her one as no way can i afford £1,000. thanks

You will get more bang for the buck buying a desktop (but will need to buy monitors) but you will still be struggling at £600 (imo)
  • i guess i need to save more money lol... thanks for your help
  • In fact, the games you're talking about are not too demanding. They can, in principle, pull any modern laptop. If you want to play the latest games you have to pay a lot of money for them. After all, now go so demanding games that it's scary)).
