Not exactly free.
Scottish tax payers pay more than anyone.

I for one would be better off by £3000 if I lived in England.

The SNP are experts in giving  "free" to show how good they are in government.

That's usually how it works, pay more taxes, get more 'services'. 
University education, nursery places, school meals, prescriptions, personal care for elderly...

Besides, only some not all pay more tax, and on the other hand probably pay less council tax.

Not sure anyone is going to be taking them if they have no use for them! There are plenty of women who don't have periods for various reasons.

But we got a broken down ugly parliament building at £414 million and running / repair costs of about £80 million per year.

We get show projects like the Queensferry Crossing not fit for purpose at 1.35 Billion pounds

People are moving away. 

On 4 March 2020 the Scottish Parliament set the following income tax rates and bands for 2020 to 2021.

They are not that popular. There is no one else to vote for, on the mainland. My fellow scots do not vote for them.

Their core voters seem to be the ones that have never worked a day in their lives or are on methadone?

Or still at school having been brainwashed with years of propaganda.

What we want is financial and political independence from Scotland. With Shetland and Orkney being governed as a Crown Dependency, similar to Jersey and the Isle of Man.

My original point still stands.
It is good that period products are to be given out "free".

But they are not "free" as they are paid for by people working in the most heavily taxed country in the UK.

If we are going to get "free" then spend the money on Education, Health, Child poverty etc.
On what Scotland really needs not propaganda stunts.
