Can't install printer cartridge??

I have a Lexmark Z730 printer and have bought the TESCO L101 cartridge which says it is for my printer and looks identical to the old one but when I put it is as instructed I get a message saying "Unsupported cartridge"?? Any ideas where I am going wrong?? Thanks

Some cartridges are chipped to stop you using cheaper brands, that's how lexmark make their moneyEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

Dont know what sort of cartridge lexmark use, but I have a brother printer that has 4 seperate cartridges. Morrisons do refill kits colour @£5.99 (thats for the 3 colours, not each) and a b/w refill kit at the same price. I have now refilled my cartridges 3 or 4 times, dead easy and dead cheap. Guess you would have to be exremely careful if colour cartridge was an all in one though. Doesn't solve your immediate problem but think about it for the future.0
