Hi all,
hoping someone will have the answer to this,
just over a year ago I took the first step to sorting my finances out and made myself bankrupt this has now been changed on my credit file to show that I am now a discharged bankrupt,
my question is around CCJ’s I had three CCJ’s when I was declared bankrupt these have continued to show on my credit file as active throughout my bankruptcy and are still showing as that after discharge,
so does anyone know if this is correct or should they be marked as satisfied or at least as inactive? Should I raise a dispute with the credit reference agencies?

There is no way to mark a CCJ thats been subject to bankrupcy, the judgements have been voided, and will drop off your file no later than your bankrupcy does.

It's frustrating as I recently tried to move and had a conversation with a letting agency and was upfront about my previous adverse credit history, they believe because it's still on my file it and it was a high amount (4.5k) the landlord wouldn't accept me even though I can prove I'm discharged and have been using Credit Ladder for some time to prove I've not missed rent payments in 2 years.
