Lifetime membership

I signed up to lifetime membership with xercise4less for £9.99. xXercise4less have gone in to administration and have been bought out by JD gyms, JD have now informed me that the membership is going up to £19.99.
Is there any way JD should honour my lifetime membership or am I bang out of luck because is changed to a different company ? Many thanks for reading

You are out of luck I'm afraid.
Your contract with xercise4less expired when the company went under.
Have you read your terms and conditions for that contract? Usually it will have a clause to say that they reserve the right to put the prices up if they give you notice beforehand anyway.
