Firefox addon's help

I'm having trouble with some firefox add-on's.

I've downloaded and installed 'video download 2.0' from the add ons site on firefox,

however the icon, (which normally shows in bottom right corner isn't there.

I can't find any ways of downloading the flash videos from youtube or anywhere else for that matter, I'm aware that this can be done from online servers, but would prefer to have it as an addon on my firefox pages.

I can't see if anything is disabled,

any ideas?

is there an option to show or hide it's icon in it's settings?

tools > addons > click on options for that extension if there are any

cant check myself as i dont have that one.

Also look next to the address bar at the top. I use a video d/l addin on my home PC (can't remember which one though) and that has the icon up there, usually it's 3 grey spheres until something is possible to d/l then they become red/yellow/blue.

i'm not sure there is a icon from the screen shots. i think you just right click and save
