Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Where is the cheapest place to buy the new Harry Potter Book - Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I have seen it for £9.99 at Tesco.com but is it available any cheaper?

Thanks

Alison

  • based on most of the posts i have seen on this (i want it too) it seems the general consensus is to hold off on pre-ordering, and wait til the supermarkets start banging it out at around the £6/7 mark

if you do a search you should be able to find some more comprehensive info...

personally am going to wait -

is it me, or are the gaps between the books coming out at all getting really long, its almost enough for you to lose the enthusiasm...?

Me too diva. Asda are always cheapest for books and last year they had masses of the HP books.

This pre-supposes that you are allowed to wait until it comes out and see what price it falls to rather than the family insisting that we have to have it the same day! Haven't yet had to be anywhere at midnight, thank goodness ...

But I searched for a Harry Potter post the other day and couldn't find any! So thank you Alison for asking, I don't know where it's been talked about - or was it on another forum?

Found the thread here by searching my own posts, lol.

Ended up having to do a search on Edinburgh Castle as putting in Harry Potter didn't bring it up. Thats why Edinburgh Castle is coming up in red print.

edited to add no wonder search didn't come up with Harry Potter under my posts as I didn't actually use the words Harry Potter :o
