This question is the same as the “How long is a piece of string” question. You have got a new job and you want to take a mortgage out in February? That’s literally all the info you have provided. Every mortgage company will offer you a mortgage if your income is high enough, your credit rating is good, you have a deposit saved and your debts and outgoings are low.3

I don’t want to take the job if being there less than three months would stop me getting a mortgage .... it 3.5 times my salary, I gave 20% deposit0

The house purchase needs to happen so the job may have to wait unfortunately. It’s so annoying0

When do you need to have completed your house purchase by?If the job offer is still going to be there in the future then perfect, but if this is a one time chance I'd look at all your other options before passing it up, there are plenty of other houses out there and other options rather than buying now, but good jobs are a bit harder to find...1

I’m not unemployed at the moment snd if this hadn’t popped up I’d have been perfectly happy, but of course now it had I’ve got seriously itchy feet. My house is sold snd that had to go through. I don’t like my chances of renting with 3 cats and a dog. And a child.0

I would suggest that you talk to one of the brokers who post on this group such as @haras_n0sirrah before you give up, see how they feel about your chances...

There are lenders who will lend with a signed job offer and a start date within the next 3 months so if you start a new job now that will be fine for a number of lenders1
