Just cancelled my order with HMV too and ordered from John Lewis I know it wont be here for xmas but at least its on its way. Will now have to beg/borrow a spare controller from friends for the festive season but I have now finished xmas shopping hurray!

I got this email too, do you think they were sent yesterday or today ?

If yesterday, then they are due today aren't they, as special delviery is next day ?

Can't believe I've also had an email from play.com to say that my items have been posted......it was the wii play that I ordered about 2 weeks ago that I forgot to cancel when it said awaiting stock :rolleyes:

Now, I'm taking bets on which ones, if any, will arrive before Christmas or will I end up with spare and can help out family/friends too

I have just phoned and although there web shows stock they dont actually have any in stock .....

I've just checked and my gamestation wii play was dispatched on Tuesday. Should be here today or tomorrow. I'm expecting my HMV order to come tomorrow (email arrived at 1048 this morning).

Bought Wii Play( £34.xx) at Tesco Extra in Peterborough last night( around 6pm). They had remotes ( £29.xx) and nunchuks (£14.xx) as well in stock and I did not see anybody else buying or asking about them.

Also had mail from HMV at 10.49, that it's in the post (1-2 days). Should be express delivery as I paid extra £5.

Also, at PC World, nunchuck is £12.99 boutght online compared with £14.99 in store
