I will be eternally grateful to the people on here who responded to me and kept me sane.Thankyou from the bottom of my heart XX. Ps How do you lose £150k, and how many more have been 'lost '??Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1 -
Companies that outsource work need to consolidate records and make it easy for the receiving company else they would never agree to take on the business. Given that Barclays has over a couple of centuries acquired various other concerns (Woolwich etc) they would have a vast number of schemes available many of which may have had their terms amended. Add the more recent concerns about data protection and you're bound to get someone going ahead and shredding old files without realising not everything has been captured into an IT system. So not necessarily hitting the wrong button on a computer but the info not being satisfactorily on the computer at all.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
