Lending advice please

Hi, I wonder if I can ask for some guidance please. I am trying to raise funding quickly to pay a Trustee in Bankruptcy £22k to release my husband from BR and remain in our family home. I just wondered with finance applications, will lenders accept the reason I am asking for the funding, ie. will the application likely be successful? Thank you.

In the main, yes.
We have one going through at the minute with our secured loan broker, the lender is fine with the reason.
But you also need to check the bankruptcy is within criteria.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Definitely find a broker and explain your situation in detail to them to get all your options. Preferably one who deals with adverse finance.1

As above this process is much easier with a broker as some lenders will have differing criteria and mortgage lending is not the quickest at the moment, there may also be complications due to you being married and the home being a joint asset with a person in bankruptcy so hopefully a broker could give you a bit of guidance about what questions to raise the trustee.
As a note @ACG who has commented above is a broker who deals with adverse credit, they are unable to contact you directly, but you can message them privately from their profile if you wish to talk to them directly and/or use their services.
