Should I pay my shop mortgage off?

Should I pay my shop mortgage off? I have about 7 years left.

  • Without having any additional information no one can answer that question.
Age, income, source of funds, ongoing career prospects, other financial commitments, children, reserves etc. are all relevant.
Yes paying off a mortgage early will mean you will not incur any further interest, but that in isolation that question is totally pointless and unanswerable.

Well clearly I didn't put any details in my question on purpose, and now I've had a reply it is clear that I was right not to, thanks for your comment though.
