I'm a UK resident and receive a Belgian state pension which I disclose to HMRC.
Last week, I received a request from Belgium asking for proof of income to pay taxes on my whole income.
I understand there is a clause of double taxation where you pay taxes in the country of your residence only, in my case the UK. I mentioned it to the Belgian Fisc who told me it's a new law. Can someone please enlighten me. I receive my Belgian pension since July 2013.

They have not. They just said it's a new law and I would be fined if I didn't comply. 😔 Does anyone know at which point tax is due, i.e. any income over, say, £15,000??0
