question about shopping hours and coronavirus
I have a condition that affects me sleeping hours, so it's not good in these times because supermarkets are no longer 24 hours..and my condition is such that i'm very particular.. and i'm disorganised..
I used to go out in the early hours of the morning to big supermarkets whose stock I knew, and get exactly what I wanted , and sometimes pick up one thing i'd forgotten or had run out of, but I can't do that now. Even picking up hard to find items, that a particular 24 hour big tesco had.
I tried online shopping once but the problem was they wanted me to spend like £35+.. or something really high.. Is that still the case?
Is online shopping even working consistently now? I tried it some months back and couldn't get a slot..
And let's say I can get a slot.. Is it still the case that they require a large spend like £35+?
I have Amazon Prime and looked at their groceries but when I checked it it was also like you have to spend £35+ or something like that..and I have hoarding issues too. so the last thing I need is to buy more things that I don't need

Have you thought about piggy-backing your order onto that of someone that already has a regular spot?No man is worth crawling on this earth.

Supermarkets only really used to open 24 hours as they have staff stocking the shelves at night so they opened up to allow customers in too as the lights are on anyway.
But now they need to give the staff more room to work due to social distancing so it is easier to stock the shelves at night with no customers in.
My local Asda is still opening up at 6am though, have you checked, maybe you could still get in early even if its not as early as it used to be.
Most supermarkets will allow small online orders but if it is less than £40 there will be an additional fee to pay in addition to the delivery charge..
Amazon Fresh is a bit better as you only need to spend £15 but then delivery is £3.99 unless you spend £40 when it is free with Prime.0
