mortgage offer no hard search

Hello,

I received my santander mortgage offer at the end of Oct and just had in my new clearscore report today, however no hard search seems to appear anywhere on my account only a soft search when i applied.

I was expecting to see a hard search noted on my file now that I've had my offer for nearly 3 weeks, is this correct they only do soft searches?

Maybe they used a different company, my hard search was transunion and didn't show on clearscore either x

Do you have an account with them where you salary goes?

I applied for a HSBC mortgage and no hard search was carried out on me, just a bunch of soft searches. I have banked with them for over a year and my salary goes into the current account.

Used Experian perhaps. 
Would have checked Trust Registry, National Hunter and the London Gazette in any event.

My Santander soft and hard search can be found on Experian. With all the trauma we’ve been through during the Santander process I feel confident that you’ve had your credit check, now just relax and bask in the glory of your offer haha!!

They used experian for me, not equifax or transunion. Got to remember to check all CRA'S

Thanks all, nope do not bank with santander, my mortgage application was fairly quick (19 days), no hard search on my file ever shown on my file, i don't have experian, i have the mortgage offer so i guess it'll show next month on clearscore!

The only place where my mortgage hard search appears is Equifax, Experian and Transunion (Credit Karma) nothing.

I applied for one in July and completed October with Barclays, still no hard search on Equifax.  Havent looked on Experian yet. In reality though OP there are bigger things to be worried about, I certainly aint bothered 🤷‍♂️

Also no hard search.  Only a soft search on AIP but no hard search at all on the 4 credit reference agencies.  Got my offer in September.
