I know, I really need to be more positive don't I   There's so much to do, but also things keep cropping and my plans always seem to go astray.  Tomorrow is my day to start organising and decluttering.

Exercise has taken a back seat recently savings, and I must start up again as I am definitely feeling it.  There's a lot more positivity and energy when I'm exercising and/or going out in nature.

I had a trip around B&M earlier, I'm looking for some ideas for battery lit table centerpieces or lights in a jar.  I've got an old set in the cupboard and a jar, so I'll need to dig them out and see if they still work.

Sounds nice to have as a centrepiece. I'm a pessimist/realist and have bought some rechargeable lights and some mini battery operated ones in case the proverbial hits the fan and we get blackouts!!

I never thought of it in those terms savingholmes, but that is a good idea.  I bought some garden ones online - they run on batteries, and have a 6 hour timer so they'll come on every evening at the same time for 6 hours.  I'll will set them to come on  around 4.30 pm once the clocks go back, and they'll be on until 10.30.  I did see some suitable ones for inside with a similar timer so I'll try and get those.  Looking around at home over the weekend I found a nice heart jar, so at least I know what size I'm looking for now.  The leaflet with the lights says that the batteries will last around 3 months on the timer setting so maybe 2 sets of batteries and then it will be spring again

It feels like I'm in a steadily declining slump these past few weeks.  I've all but stopped exercising, my diet is awful and the decluttering feels like its going backwards.  I'm not sure if I'm not exercising because I'm so tired, or whether the opposite is true - I think it might be option 1, along with being in need of a break.  Time to prioritise my health and get back into an exercise routine again.

    Plan:
Draw up a meal plan for the week
    Exercise 3 x per week
Try to keep work within working hours
Declutter bedroom - start by a trip to the charity shop

It does sound like a break would do you good. Is there any way you get can away even if it is for one night?

Thanks savingholmes, I've managed to do a bit of sorting and straightening today so feel a bit more in control.  And I've managed to start a list which is always a good place to start for me  .  Yesterday I didn't even know where to start!  I've got a bit of a break coming up next week - I won't be going away but am hoping to not to have too many calls on my time - which will be a break in itself.  I was doing so well, and to be fair have done quite a lot these past few weeks.  Hopefully things will improve more this week.

Thanks savingholmes and debtfree.  It was so nice to have a bit of a break.  I'm feeling loads better, just needed to stop for a while I think
