FACEBOOK ADOBE FLASH HELP HELP HELP

I have uninstalled Flash as I got fed up with the announcement that it was going to break free or something... If I'm not mistaken someone kindly pointed out that there would be not much to lose if I did it.

Now I find that I cannot click on the emoticons except for the "like thumb" and the Home Timeline comes up as on a telephone or so ...very vertical style.

Might also be because I'm using https://www.fbpurity.com/faq.htm to keep Facebook old style, my Timeline is beautiful minus emoticon.

I have not discovered any other  changes as yet.

FBPurity worked fine until I disengaged Flash, which I have the slight suspicion is the CULPRIT.

I hope I made myself understood providing you know I DETEST technology.

Now my request: HELP !

I want my life back
