"None of them work hence why I took it out for them. Nothing to do with "entitled"."

I hope you and more importantly, they, come to see this is indeed about feeling entitled. I have travelled extensively (using money I have worked for) and one thing that really stands out in so many countries is just how hard some people have to work to put basic food on their table, and little more. Any sort of mobile phone would be unimaginable for them. And they are the lucky ones; they have jobs. Yet in countries like ours, some people who do not even have jobs think they should have the latest mobile phones. In this particular case, they have used you in pursuit of something that is beyond both their means, and yours. As others have said, stop trying to blame the phone company and face up to the fact you have made a mistake. Luckily, it is not a life changing mistake. Default, tell your family you can't pay, and when eventually a DCA is involved, work out payment terms, and ask your family to contribute. Selling the phones would be a good start. I suspect if they are using the latest phones they are not living on bread and water either. I imagine that could make a few sacrifices to help you out a little, at least. Learn a lesson and move on.
  • Some of the comments here are a bit brutal, but nonetheless justified. I don't think we'll hear from the OP again.
