Revised mortgage offer?

Options
We had our mortgage offer approved in August, got the below text today, broker has no idea what's going on, rang NW who said it was something to do with land registry, can't get my solicitor to answer the phone..
But can someone just confirm to me im reading this right please..
The purchase price - the mortgage offer is the sum left the amount you pay in deposit?
We advised we had a 15% deposit but the total amount less the mortgage offer is 13%.. does this mean we need to put in a 13% deposit?
Sorry I've never done this before and I'm so confused even more so now 🤣

Chances are your solicitor has reported something to the lender which has come up during conveyancing. Lease term, ground rent & service charges confirmed, something like that. On the deposit issue, did you add a fee to the loan?

  • Apparently the address was formatted wrong, and when they submitted it first time they had done it incorrectly.
No we haven't added anything on, the amount of the loan and and the 13% deposit makes the full purchase price so maybe that's just a nice surprise 🤣
