Hi,
Does anyone on here have a sweet tooth? My wife loves a couple of types of sweets but is importing them from overseas or buying them from Asian supermarkets. Being a Moneysaver and living in the land of confectionery that is the UK, I am sure we can get UK equivalents of these here and save ourselves a bit of money. Here is what she likes:

This one is basically a grape flavoured jelly covered in chocolate.

This is a wafer roll which is filled with chocolate.
Do you think supermarkets will sell stuff like this or would I have to go to a specialist confectionery retailer? We live in Manchester if that helps.
Thank you so much

Best thing would be to try oriental, ethnic or polish supermarkets. I don't think there are British equivalents to these.
But some things can be found online, here are some Polish wafer rolls.

Definitely oriental supermarkets will be your best bet - I lived in Malaysia for a few years, and saw both of those regularly for peanuts0

Lidl sometimes have something in stock similar to the 2nd of your pictured item but classed as a wafer biscuit, not regular stock, just one of their specials every now & again & often in stock during 'Polish Week', which come around regularly. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
