Hi all can I apply for this rebate I live with my wife and 12 year old son I’m in full time employment,my wife gave up her job when our son was born to be a homemaker and full time mum as she doesn’t claim job seekers allowance my income is the only money coming into the house.

No you can't get a 2nd adult rebate as you are married.  Google would have told you that in a matter of seconds.

As has already been mentioned if you are on low income and have less than 16K savings you might be able to get a council tax reduction.
