So
I need to get a grip with my finances. 💰
2021 will be my year I get them organised.
Thinking of using YNAB to help, along with Dave Ramsey & good old fashioned pen & paper.
For now I'm just going to write down any thoughts I have here as I've paid all my bills this month, so I can start this for 2021.

Hello Diary 👋
So, since I last posted I have joined SPC & also signed up for a Monzo account so I can have my savings pots.
I've also downloaded YNAB & am looking forward to next month when I can start my journey properly!

Welcome! Just wanted to say I am a HUGE Ynab fan. It has totally changed my life, I love all the goals etc - it's a real game changer for being able to pay down debt and save at the same time. That combined with all the incredible advice on here.
Wishing you lots of luck on your journey.Total Debt @ LBM: £26,380.49- Total debt: £2,500

Why wait start planning now. You still have 6 week. I love YNAB and just opened a starling account that is similar to monzo in that it has spaces to save money and set goals for. Really helps, I have it as a sinking fund on YNAB as I found it was too easy to move money between categories otherwise. Good luck. Have you done a SOA so people can help suggest places to cut down in.*Dad loan - £5300 - £7200
*Virgin Credit Card - £3552.50 - £0
*Natwest - £1828.35 -£400
Barclaycard - £2315.25 - £0.00
Creation Finance - £960.32 £840
*Total debt - £8440/£11641.17*
Savings
*Savings Buffer - £1000/£1500
*Emergency Fund - £1010/£1500
